The Liberal Democrats exist to build a fair, free and open society, in which all people can have the opportunity to fulfil their potential, free from the chains of poverty, ignorance and conformity.

As a society, we offer a wide range of debates and speaker events to broaden understanding of our goals and beliefs and to encourage discussion on the future of liberal democracy – at a local, national and international level. As a student organisation we are also keenly concerned with putting words into action and campaigning on the real issues which impact on our lives. And as students we also like to have fun! So come to our socials, dinners and liberal-related events this term.
